Corriganville Park is not only beautiful but historic. Formerly owned by Ray “Crash” Corrigan, this park was once the Corriganville Movie Ranch and was the filming site for over 3,500 movies, TV programs and commercials. Today, this park is home to 4 different trails that wind around the 246 acre property owned by the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District.

Step into Simi Valley’s past at Strathearn Historical Park & Museum. This beautiful six acre park, which is part of the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District, has the feel of a small town from years gone by. This park is home to several historic structures which represent Simi’s past. Come and tour the Simi Adobe, Simi Valley’s oldest structure. Take a walk through the Colony House, which was a prefabricated ‘kit house’ shipped by rail all the way from Illinois in 1888.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum encompasses more than 100 acres of collections and beautiful gardens in a dramatic hilltop setting overlooking the ocean and Southern California. Learn about the 40th President of the United States through the Museum & Library’s many permanent and visiting exhibitions and stay for lunch at one of the two on-site restaurants.

Rocky Peak Park encompasses 4,800 acres in the Santa Susana Mountains between Chatsworth and Simi Valley, this extraordinary Rim of the Valley Trail Corridor property stretches from the 118 freeway five miles northward to Las Llajas Canyon, and forms the most critical wildlife habitat linkage between the Simi Hills and the Santa Susana Mountains. Spectacular sandstone boulders, outcroppings, oak savannas, and perennial water sources provide diverse habitat for birds, mammals, and reptiles.

Santa Susana Pass State Historic Park is rich in natural, historical and cultural significance. Here in the western part of the Transverse Ranges, the land is dominated by high, narrow ridges and deep canyons covered with an abundant variety of plant life. The park offers panoramic views of the rugged natural landscape as a striking contrast to the developed communities nearby. The park is also rich in archaeological, historical, and cultural significance.

The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center first opened its doors in 1995. Located in the historical building on the corner of Los Angeles Avenue and Church Street, the Center serves as a regional hub for the arts and is home to theater, dance, music and the visual arts. It also serves as a community facility and is available for meetings, conferences and special events. The Center functions as a producing, presenting, and rental house. Over 350 events take place at the Center every year.
