I wanted to share this article about Senior Move Managers because it includes some useful information about the importance of hiring Senior trained professionals to serve Senior clients. From my experience local professionals give more extensive and knowledgeable service than the online portals for many senior services.

Two important points – many families don’t realize these trained professionals exist to help Senior clients move from their longtime family home into a smaller home or senior community. Many of these professionals began working with Senior clients after helping their own family members (often their parents) and realizing there are so many families that need the same service but don’t know where to look.
My own stepmother is currently helping her friend and longtime neighbor pack to move to a senior community. She is retired and has a flexible schedule but even she commented “this project is taking longer than I expected because my friend likes to reminisce about many of the belongings”. They live out of state but I may suggest a senior move manager to them.
I also work with Seniors and have earned the Senior Real Estate Specialist SRES designation.
